Intellectual & Development Disabilities Program

Our Medical Adult Day Centers are dedicated to providing exceptional support and care for adults with developmental disabilities, enhancing their daily lives and offering invaluable respite for their families. Our comprehensive program is designed to foster independence, socialization, and overall well-being through a variety of engaging activities and services.

Program Details:

· 2-Day Program Options: Monday through Friday, 9:00-2:00 and 2:00-7:00.
· Functional and Recreational Activities: Opportunities for socialization and community-based recreation.
· Caring Staff: Activities facilitated by well-trained staff committed to improving the quality of life.
· Medical Support: Comprehensive medical care management.
· Saturday Recreation: Enjoy local social, cultural, sporting, and seasonal events.

Dementia Program

Our Medical Adult Day Centers recognize that being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia is challenging, not only for the person who is diagnosed but also for the family members and loved ones who care for them.

Program Details:

· Transportation (to and from the center)
· Medicaid Funded.
· Meals: 2 Hot Meals and a Snack (special diets can be accommodated).
· Structured Programming: 5 hours of programming which includes opportunities for socialization, recreation, exercise, art activities, sensory stimulation, music, etc.
· Caring Environment: Care is provided by a friendly and knowledgeable staff in a structured, safe, and welcoming environment.
· Daily Living Assistance: Assistance with activities of daily living and self-care.
· Professional Support: Support from a team of professionals which includes nurses, social workers, and a licensed dietician.
· Respite Care: Respite is also offered through Broadway’s Respite Homecare Department to support families who need additional help at home.
